AREAI Supports the Development of Digital Economy Research at ICCMS 2024

Semarang - The Indonesian Economic and Accounting Research Association (AREAI) took an important part in the International Collaborative Conference on Multidisciplinary Science (ICCMS 2024) by supporting the development of research in the field of digital economy and accounting.

The conference featured prominent speakers such as Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd., Rector of Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang, who discussed the importance of the digital economy in building global sustainability. In his session, he highlighted the role of technology in improving efficiency and transparency in the economic and financial sectors.

The AREAI Chair said that the association's support for this conference is part of its vision to encourage innovative research in economics and accounting. “We believe that international and cross-disciplinary collaboration will help AREAI members create solutions that are relevant to today's global economic challenges,” he said.

As part of the event, AREAI also introduced a new inter-university research collaboration program that aims to connect Indonesian researchers with global partners. The program is expected to produce quality publications that can enhance Indonesia's academic reputation at the international level.
